Preparing for Your Blood Draw
Stay Well Hydrated
Drinking plenty of water before your appointment increases blood volume and makes veins significantly easier to access gently.
Fasting Guidelines (If Applicable)
Tests such as Lipid Panels and Fasting Glucose require 8 to 12 hours of fasting (water is encouraged). Check with your ordering doctor or call us to verify.
Bring Your Lab Order & Photo ID
Bring your paper doctor order or have your doctor's office fax it to our clinic ahead of your arrival.
